B-COMM ERP PDC This communication software is designed for SAP end users who collect job data. B-COMM ERP PDC maintains communication with the collection device, checks incoming data against SAP standards, and then passes this data via certified interfaces to SAP. After booking the already reported data, the processes are updated. Then an alignment with B-COMM ERP PDC is performed. High data security is guaranteed with this synchronization. Maintenance of transaction data is done in the SAP system only. For job data collection, intelligent terminals of the B-Net series are recommended. You can design specific collection processes according to the requirements of the user by means of a dialog editor. Add-Ons for the PP Standard Module Several software options for B-COMM ERP PP/PS/PM/CATS are available: Automatic Start / Interruption / End Automatic start/interruption/end of activities and processes by recording an HR booking. The configuration can be done individually for each HR record type or for the corresponding BDE module (PP, PM, PS, CATS). Example: By activating the Clock-out booking (P20) or the Start-break booking (P15), the processes currently registered of a person will be quit automatically. By activating the Clock-in booking (P10) or the End-break booking (P25), the processes last registered of the employee will start automatically. Order change The "Order change" software option allows multi-module changing from a current process to a new process. Current logged-in PP/PS/PM/CATS activities and processes are automatically finished, and new activities and processes are started. Depending on the configuration, this software option can also be used with multiple order processing and multiple machine operation. Multiple Machine Operation / Multiple Order Processing Module for calculating order and person times (machine times, processing times, setup times, etc.). The following scenarios are supported: - Multiple order processing (i.e. an employee handles different processes simultaneously)
- Multiple machine operation (i.e. several processes run on one machine)
- Time splitting (time distribution is carried out according to the corresponding target times or linearly)
- Automatic deduction of break times according to the SAP shift plans
