Data Collection - Bedanet 90 80 

With Bedanet 90 80, Kaba introduces a universally applicable and multi-functional I/O module (input/output module) that is especially suitable for machine data collection. The module is programmed in Basic and is therefore also adaptable to a partner or customer's individual requirements. It has been developed specifically to record data such as production/set-up times, cycle times, and piece numbers, and to transmit them to enterprise systems for further evaluation.  

Its eight alarm inputs can optionally be used as a 32-bit counter (30 Hz pulse frequency max.). Moreover it has four digital outputs and two relays (250 V 5 A). Up to eight temperature sensors can be connected via a bus. 

The module is equipped with standard software that reads the collected data and passes this data to the application as data records. With the integrated Web server, this user-friendly module can be configured with a standard Web browser. The Bedanet 90 80 has all relevant protocols of the TCP/IP family and is ideal for integration with all corporate networks. The I/O module communicates via the integrated Ethernet interface using the B-COMM communication software with the MDC (machine data collection) application. The recorded machine data is permanently synchronized with the SFDC/MDC software. Because of its free programmability, the module is universally and flexibly applicable and open for customized requirements.
