B-COMM® JavaA communication program for all solutions |
The IT structures of companies use a wide range of hardware platforms, network technologies, operating systems, and software applications. The organizational sequences are often supplemented by data collections systems for access control, time and attendance, and shop floor data collection. The new communication program B-COMM Java has been developed for integrating these collection sequences into the IT structures. Programmed in modern Java architecture, it allows communication between the collection terminals and the software applications, independently of the computer or operating system platforms. The partner’s big advantage of this feature that the entire system has to be programmed only once and can still be used on all platforms. The use of B-COMM requires a Java runtime environment 1.2.0 and higher for its non-graphic applications and 1.4.2 for its graphic applications (under Windows, Linux). Another useful feature is that individual B-COMM modules and the software applications can be installed on different computers. By using UNICODE, B-COMM Java is prepared for processing all internationally known fonts and can thus be used worldwide. B-COMM Java replaces all previous B-COMM communication programs, except B-COMM ERP for SAP ERP. The optional modules CardLink and Biometrics allow future-oriented technologies to be used in access control and for person identification. |
