New wide-range solution from Kaba: Reliable identification of driver and vehicle over larger distances

B-Net 91 35

The subterminal B-Net 91 35 allows quick and reliable identification of driver and vehicle over a distance of up to 10 meters. The driver is identified via the badge inserted in the so-called LEGIC Booster. If the driver is authorized, the barrier or the gate to the company premises opens immediately and the vehicle can drive through. This new wide-range solution ensures convenient and fast access to the company premises or parking lots. It supplements existing or new access control systems with LEGIC technology and can be easily integrated in all Kaba systems.

The system consists of the base station B-Net 91 35, a LEGIC booster (amplifier) and a LEGIC badge. The station B-Net 91 35 is programmed in accordance with customer requirements, is fixed to a barrier or a gate and directly connected to a Kaba access control management. The booster is mounted to the inside of the windshield by means of suction cups. If the badge is laid in the booster, the data are transferred to the B-Net 91 35 and passed to the access control management system that checks the authorization and then approves access where applicable. The badge can be used as a universal readable and writable data carrier in other applications such as access protection, time recording or canteen invoicing and thus has versatile uses. Particularly the combination of the wide-range solution, where vehicle and driver data are collected, with other Kaba systems is particularly attractive for companies.
