Add on Modules |
| They are small, additional modules for B-COMM®ERP for SAP® ERP. They cover functions that are not provided within the SAP system, but are needed by companies in their daily operational processes. The solution’s modular architecture allows us to implement only those modules that are actually needed. The add-ons are designed as intranet applications, and run in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Mozilla. We apply standards such as http and XML. |

Attendance ManagementThe Attendance Management is an option for the SAP access control and includes the seamless integration of access control, time profile management, graphic alarm management and booking evaluations. The Attendance Management module forms an overall system made up of time recording, access control, and shop floor data collection devices, which integrates and manages authorizations across the overall system. It supports the entire range of Kaba state-of-the-art terminals.
The Attendance (= Access) Profile combines the settings made in the badge definitions, the time profiles and the layout management in a superordinated overall profile. In this profile, it is defined which person (represented by the badge groups) receives booking authorizations for which terminals and at which time. In plain words: “Who has access when and where?”
Attendance Management includes the following modules: |

Visitor ManagementThe Visitor Management allows visitors and employees from external companies to participate in the existing time recording system and access control without their data entering the SAP system. Simple masks make a fast and time-saving collection possible. Data saved once are available for later visits. Retroactive reports, such as number of visitors or the determination of who has been visited by whom and when, can be called up at any time. And the participation at the access control is guaranteed. The master record maintenance for employees of an external company is only done in the sub-system. It enables – independently of SAP – the generation and management of badge numbers and visitor cards. This allows a non-employee to take part in the company's time recording and/or access control, without his or her data reaching the SAP system.

Lost and FoundThe function “Lost and Found” serves for issuing and managing replacement badges in case the original badge is lost. It does not matter if the person who lost or forgot the badge is an SAP employee or an employee of an external company, anyway no master record change will be necessary. If a person finds a lost badge, it can also be reassigned to this person. |

Alarm ManagementThe Alarm Management serves for managing and visualizing alarms and status and sabotage messages on monitored terminals/entries. The messages / texts / process instructions can be configured according to your requirements.Generally, it is distinguished between two alarm types:
A physical alarm is generated if there is a fault with the terminal hardware, the door components or the network connection. A logical alarm is generated if there is a fault in the booking process. This might be e.g. the denial of a booking, a missing time profile of a booking person or invalid badges. An alarm message is displayed on the screen as pop-up and supported by an acoustic signal. The automatic sending of an e-mail or SMS with an alarm message is also possible. This means for you that permanent presence is not mandatory. An on-call duty may be sufficient.

Attendance BoardThe Attendance Board shows at a glance which employees, departments or groups are absent, on a business trip, on vacation or sick etc.
This became possible by downloading additional information such as attendances/absences, shift schedules and organizational units from SAP (info type 2001). You can get an overview of which persons are present in each department via definable favorites. |

Open DoorThe door opener function serves for manually opening as many doors, (rolling) gates, level crossings and turnstiles as desired from a remote gate keeper place. Personnel is no longer necessary at less frequented locations. To open the door, existing terminals and the available wiring structure are being used. In case of emergency, several or all door elements are opened via a single push of a button. |
