Communication - Ethernet Adapter BETA 1600/2 

The Ethernet adapters BETA 1600/2 ensure an optimal network connection due to an efficient transfer protocol translation with a minimal network load. By using the standard network protocol TCP/IP, the devices can be installed on all current networks.
 

Communication over networks, where manufacturer specific protocols are running (such as the protocol from Novell or the LAN-Manager from Microsoft), is possible with the same cable. The terminals can be connected to the network through an optional Ethernet interface inside the terminal as well.
