Subterminal B-Net 91 05 

Application 

As a sub-terminal, the B-Net 91 05 is connected to a higher-level control system, for example an access manager or a terminal from the B-Net series.  This control unit is installed in the protected area; the badge content read at the B-Net 91 05 is checked, interpreted and evaluated here. Due to this decision, the barrier or door is then opened and if the employee is not authorized, the LED luminous ring changes from green to red with a short signal and thus signalizes the refusal of access. The B-Net 91 05 is equipped with a relay and digital inputs, that can be used, for example, for monitoring a door (door frame contact / door opener). 

Through the use of the Legic advant - RFID technology, not only Legic data media but also unique numbers of ISO 14443 and 15693 media are read. The writing of data on the Legic medium is also new, for instance for the transport of access rights with non-networked door components in an access control system. In the stand-alone mode, five customer numbers can be stored in parallel. Furthermore, up to 50 authorizations can be stored in the access control mode.
