Access Control - Terminals / Reading systems

Highly sensitive operational areas must be protected with an intelligent Access Control System. This system should provide access to authorized personnel but prohibit entry of unauthorized persons. An individual combination of terminals, subterminals, and an access manager provides optimal protection for your facilities and buildings.

Access Control - Subterminals

The subterminals

have no active elements like a relay for door-opening e.g. They only serve as capturing units that forward information to the superior unit in the protected area.

For single door solutions or gates, a subterminal is connected to the control Bedanet 92 20 S

The latest solution for Access Control is the biometric terminal B-Net 91 20 Fingerprint. The unique biometric data in the employee's fingerprint is recorded along with their personnel number and stored in the B-Net 91 20 Fingerprint terminals.

Advantages of biometric identification methods - Because biometric traits are unique to each individual, they can be used to prevent theft or fraud. Unlike a password or PIN (personal identification number), a biometric trait cannot be forgotten, lost, or stolen.

Access control - Wide-range identification sub-terminal B- Net 91 35

The sub-terminal B-Net 91 35 allows quick and safe identification of RFID media over a distance of up to 10 meters. A typical application is the identification of a driver in the company vehicle, without the driver having to stop in front of a barrier and he or she is able to drive onto company premises. For this, he or she simply inserts his/her RFID employee badge in the Legic Booster installed in the vehicle.

B-Net mobile AC

B-Net mobile AC is the ideal mobile software solution in order to check access authorizations on site. It is easy to use, not localized and usable in completely flexible manner. The solution is perfectly suitable for areas in which the accesses must be controlled short-time and in a mobile way.

Apart from the PIN entry, the check or data recording can also be done by means of the LEGIC reader and barcode scanner. Due to the compatibility with these systems, there are no restrictions considering the use of it.
