![]() | Kaba’s B-Net 95 80 Multifunction Terminal offers solutions for many applications. In addition to Shop Floor Data Collection, this PC terminal can be used as a platform for web-based information applications. Its modern attractive design makes it suitable for use as info station for employees and customers, for example for showing personal data, training contents, information about the company, etc. Moreover, it also addresses new target groups by using it as Internet surf station, point-of-sale terminal, or simply to order meals. Its touch screen terminal with integrated 17” display allows, in addition to the recording functions, also person- and order-specific information, such as drawings, production memos, works council information, safety information and safety tests, to be displayed. This means that via this terminal the company information reaches all employees selectively and in person via the badge identification. To this end, the PC terminal is equipped with a graphic 12” or 17” TFT display of high luminosity, which allows the user to display all types of information. Unlike a purely industrial PC, the B-Net 95 80 multifunction terminal has many functions ensuring easy and error-free operation. The touch screen display is sensitive to touch and can be easily operated with gloves. In addition to high user-friendliness, the terminal features high operational availability. The terminal is designed for operation around the clock, 7 days a week. For the first time, the PC terminal does not require a fan and ventilation slots. The absence of a fan reduces the noise level considerably, which makes for high user comfort, but also reduces maintenance costs, as external fans that are susceptible to failure are no longer required. The absence of a fan and ventilation slots and the protection class IP 65 (optional) make it impossible for impurities or moisture to enter the interior of the unit. At the CeBIT, the new multi-talent with its large-sized display will also be shown in a different version: as a time recording terminal for disabled users. Mounted with a swivel arm, the terminal can be optimally reached by people in wheelchairs. For the visually impaired, it is equipped with extra large symbols for the individual functions. They can also be identified by touch. Acoustic signals give a positive booking feedback. Thus, this terminal allows unrestricted participation in time recording to all employees, including those with a disability. |
