Kaba’s Mobile Solution for Time Recording and Access Control 

More and more companies record their company data at the locations where they are produced.

With “B-Net mobile HR”, Kaba has developed a mobile time and performance recording solution, which covers these requirements exactly. 

By carrying out the time recording via cellular phone, BlackBerry® device or PDA, every booking can be done exactly where and when it is due. As this solution is compatible to all of Kaba’s stationary time recording terminals, this component can be integrated easily into new and existing time recording system. 

This new real-time solution provides the maximum convenience and flexibility to your sales representatives: They book start and end of the business-related activities electronically via mobile devices directly on site. Apart from In/Out and absences such as service type, doctor, flextime, vacation, a request function is provided. Here, the employees can obtain information about their time accounts and leave days. Bookings are also possible without signal from the network. As soon as the connection to the relevant network operator has been reestablished, the data are immediately transmitted to a central database and then processed. The use of the new solution B-Net mobile HR provides numerous advantages to companies with sales representatives, service technicians or nursing personnel: Speed, transparency, time savings and thus cost reductions. The real-time infrastructure of this solution makes data immediately available and allows accounting on a day-to-day basis. It provides the maximum overview. Attendance status, information on overtime, leave days or absence are always up to date. Manual additions are not longer required. Qualitatively better information is the base for the introduction of a reporting system and finishes the annoying paper warfare. By eliminating the double administration, expenses, in particular for personnel, are reduced. 

“B-Net mobile AC” is a mobile software solution for access control in order to check authorizations easily and flexibly on site. This solution is perfectly suitable for areas in which the access must be controlled short-time and in a mobile way, for example for events, catering services, in case of evacuation etc. Apart from the entry of the PIN, the check and data recording can also be done by means of a LEGIC reader and bar code scanner, for example if the employees go by bus to the factory and their authorizations have to be checked quickly.
