Vault installations and high security vault doors made of Relastan^® in lightweight construction 

If you are still of the opinion that a vault room only belongs in the cellar, you haven’t heard of Relastan lightweight construction! Vault rooms no longer have to be made of concrete and steel; in fact, conventionally armoured concrete walls in solid construction no longer fulfil today’s insurance requirements. Kaba builds vault installations with lightweight elements and vault doors made of Relastan. Kaba builds self-supporting, light vault installations with these elements. The vault doors are equipped with the high security lock Paxos. 

Vault rooms on upper floors optimizes the working process 

Thanks to their lightweight construction, vault installations can be installed in a building regardless of their location. There are no longer any restrictions concerning architectural statistics. The optimal integration of vault rooms in the working process results in operating cost reductions as the vault is in close proximity to the workplace and process. 

Electronic high security locking system Paxos^® 

The vault doors are equipped exclusively with an electronic high security lock. Kaba’s Paxos system is designed for the highest ergonomic operating convenience, making malfunctions through operating error impossible. The input and lock units are safe from manipulation and sabotage due to the electronic monitoring and clever barraging. 

Vault rooms for the highest insurance class 

The Relastan vault is the right solution for the safeguarding of very large and highly valuable assets, such as precious metals, cash, safe deposit boxes at banks, which have insured sums in the millions. 

EN norm-tested 

The Relastan armouring of Kaba’s vault rooms and doors were tested and certified at VdS (Association for Loss Prevention) in Cologne according to European norms EN 1143-1. The vault rooms and doors meet EN 1143-1 Resistance Level RL (WG) V to IX/IX-KB. 

Reinforcement of existing vault rooms 

Existing vault installations can be reinforced with the lightweight elements made of Relastan and a self-supporting construction in order to increase the level of security and fulfil insurance requirements.
