Main entrances with full-height units 

Special measures are often needed to maintain order and make admission to football matches and other sports events as quick and hassle-free as possible. Many stadiums require more stringent security controls at all or selected entrances for supporters of opposing teams or for fan-clubs. The turnstile can be programmed to be locked, unlocked or electrically controlled. 

Recommended solution 

Full-height turnstiles provide the necessary level of security and robustness. Our most recent generation of turnstiles, the FTS-L02 line, has been specially developed to meet the requirements of sports stadiums. Featuring a special column as well as side panels which double as motor-driven shutters, the unit has the following advantages: 

• controlled single-file channel, no queue-jumping
• easy access and increased legroom thanks to fewer horizontal crossbars
• ticket reader and other devices are protected when shutters are closed
• eye contact between security staff and arriving visitors
• integrated roof as weather protection
• additional space for advertising on shutters

Another effective solution is the FTS-L01 full-height turnstile, also developed for large venues. As a double unit, it is particularly space-saving thanks to its interlocking turnstile columns. A total of eleven cross bars guarantee single-file access, even when there is little staff support. Ticket readers are usually placed in the housing.
