The automatic barriers 

In the congested metropolitan areas where industrial and commercial buildings are densely packed, the available parking space is obviously scarce and precious. Automatic barriers allow managing access to parking lots and multi-storey car parks. They regulate the access authorization to safety zones, in front of tunnels or in industrial areas and block access to high-security sites. Opening elements controlled by ingenious access software verify the access rights, thus preventing any attempted misuse of the site. Thanks to the short opening and closing times, high entry and exit frequencies can be reached. Additional detectors and sills installed in the exit lane further encourage an unobstructed traffic flow.

This power-pack with its double arm length of up to 10 m is especially used to achieve large clearance widths and for sites with increased daytime traffic volumes, such as in industrial areas where trucks come and go incessantly. During the night, access to the site is usually blocked by a site access sliding gate.

High opening speeds are synonymous with high user frequencies in spite of dense traffic. The articulated folding arm construction is ideal for installation e.g. in entry and exit lanes of underground parking halls with limited room height.

Barriers installed in motorway access driveways reserved for ambulance, police or firefighter vehicles obviously need to fulfill very particular requirements. Game protection grids prevent the animals from venturing onto the freeway and causing accidents. Additional automatic unlocking mechanisms and monitoring switches are installed for applications where an upgraded security level is required.
