The System

The Kaba elolegic locking system is a stand-alone access system, which is based on copy proof Legic^® RFID*) technology. All components such as cylinders, locks, readers, keys, badges and door furniture can be combined into a flexible access control system. Other applications such as cash free payment in a company canteen or vending machine, time attendance or opening car park barriers are possible with Legic chip technology. Thanks to the CardLink™ function Kaba elolegic components can be integrated into the Kaba exos online world. For the first time stand-alone and online components can operated together in a single access system - integrated access management has become reality for the user.

Digital Cylinders High performance programming possibilities, various system styles, colors, lengths and different profiles make the digital cylinder a top product of digital locking technology A chip contained in the card or in the key provides controlled access to rooms. Documents: Kaba elolegic digital cylinder (245 KB)			Cylinders in Euro Profile Kaba elolegic cylinders in Euro profile use proven mechanics with intelligent electronics. User privileges are checked twice, the door can only be opened if the precision milling of the key and the electronic authorization in the cylinder electronics agree. In the compact cylinder shown at the top, the electronics are elegantly situated in the knob, the other cylinders types, double, thumbturn and single cylinders are connected to an electronic module that is installed into a mortise in the door. Cylinders in Swiss Round Profile The patented coupling of this purely electronic system reacts to the ciphered data exchange of the chip in the key. The system can used very flexibly thanks to its modular design. The independent mechanical permutation of the key allows keys to be used in different master key systems. Available in compact (picture), double, single and thumbturn cylinder styles. Any mechanical Gege key can be quickly and easliy retrofitted with a plastic key clip with a Legic transponder. Kaba elolegic c-lever This lock independent door furniture solution offers user friendliness in an elegant and compact design. The electronics built into the door furniture recognize keys, ID cards or other access media with a Legic chip without contact. As an option, this door furniture can be equipped with a mechanical cylinder so that in case of emergency, the door can be opened with a normal key. A wide range of accessories also provide solutions for emergency exits with lever handles as well as for Anti-Panic Doors with horizontal push bars. Kaba elolegic reader In a discreet light switch cover, the Kaba elelegic reader reads data stored in keys or ID cards. It is ideally combined with a motorized door opener. Available in compact style for indoor use and for higher safety against vandalism in a remote version. Suitable for indoor use and weather protected outside applications, flush or surface mounted. Kaba elolegic key deposit tube This high security key deposit is built into medium and large sized sites. In case of emergency, the key or respective access medium can be obtained quickly. For installation in firm wall or in an existing facade, the Kaba elolegic key deposit offers proven security for highest demands.			Access Media Kaba elolegic access media are based on chip technology and facilitate data exchange for secure access. They are a universally deployable - contactless identification system, and open new dimensions in the areas of access control and user-friendliness. Programming Media Kaba elolegic programming keys and cards are superior media, that do not open doors, but are used for programming. In this way a new Kaba key or badge can be programmed into an existing system immediately and without any additional programming accessories.			Programming Device For more complex configurations, the Kaba elo programmer is a programming device which widens possibilities. It is an interface between the Kaba elo manager software and mechatronic cylinders, door furniture and readers.


Software Kaba elo manager software is the „heart“ for every medium in large stand-alone master key systems, as all access data and priviliges are managed here.
