IT technician
Is this for you?
As an IT technician you will deal with hardware and software, network technology, transfer systems and control systems. You will be active in a wide professional field that is developing rapidly and you must therefore be prepared to continue learning on an ongoing basis. In this profession, rebuilding PCs and installing/removing components will be part of your day-to-day work. In addition to carrying out installation and configuration on PCs, you will support your colleagues in a range of tasks. You will therefore enjoy dealing with people as well as being very interested in computer technology.
Vocational school

In addition to modules related to your career (system technology), you will gain a broad knowledge of information technology in the general modules. You will also study General Education, Natural Sciences and English. You can graduate from the vocational school with or without the vocational school leaving certificate.
