Kaba exos - Online Components

With its different registration units Kaba offers a wide range of numerous flexible installations. The separation of registration unit and control unit emphasizes a secure and powerful solution. The control unit remains in the secure indoor area and is therefore protected against weather and vandalism. Through a multilevel security concept Kaba exos offers a very high reliability. The online components are available with different RFID-technologies.
The applied RFID technology is additionally protected by our security concept Kaba ARIOS.

The compact reader is a door manager and registration unit in one, making it ideal for indoor use. It controls and monitors an access point individually, reliably and inexpensively. The quickwire™ concept is used for low-cost wiring. Excellent investment protection is also provided for conversions or extensions as the integrated RS-485 interface ensures that existing wiring is used

The Kaba exos LA-PC registration unit combined with the Kaba exos DML2 door manager or the Kaba exos iDML2 access manager is a fully integrated access control solution with convenient user identification. The registration unit is slim and compact and suitable for direct mounting on door frames or almost any fittings, also in a metallic environment. The simple cabling and clever click-on mounting design minimizes installation work. The registration unit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The Kaba exos Biover II also enables biometric code verification of fingerprint data in addition to identification with the integrated LEGIC antenna. The Kaba exos Biover II is small and can therefore be integrated with low space requirements. The employed biometric sensor is a high-resolution thermo line sensor.
The Kaba exos Biover II can be used both online, integrated into a system, and offline with the door manager. The templates registered at a workplace are only saved on the LEGIC media of the user. The database-free verification enables fast access to the biometric data on the LEGIC media. The saved template and the fingerprint are compared directly.
The templates of two different fingers are saved on the LEGIC media. As a result the user always has the option of using either of these fingers for verification. The two-section plastic housing was especially developed for simple adhesive or screw mounting. The Kaba exos Biover II is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The control unit controls and monitors up to ten access points such as doors or turnstiles. In addition, they handle the entire authorisation management: decide access, log events and signal alarms. The devices are connected to your network via Ethernet – an affordable solution - including encryption. The control units support MIFARE and LEGIC and the ISO14443A industrial standard.

The scalable access hubs handle the entire door management with ease: access control functions, sophisticated control and monitoring tasks, as well as logging, alarm and even time and attendance functions. This is all combined in one single device and thus both efficient and cost-optimized. All data is available on-site at all times. This guarantees you maximum system availability.
