In the Safe Locks business area, the Kaba Group serves the global market for high-security and safe locks. This segment is a comparatively small part of the overall security market, but offers major potential. The Safe Locks product portfolio extends from high-security electronic locks for government and business premises to locks for ATMs and products for transit and cargo security. The range of products also covers safes and vaults and includes mechanical and electronic locks for a wide variety of containers. 

In the USA, Kaba is the leading manufacturer of high-security and safe locks. Not least because the company makes the only lock approved for government buildings. 

With its locks for ATMs, Kaba sets the industry standard, and provides access control for cash in transit through use of a unique, computer-generated combination of numbers and a SmartKey. 

In the fast-growing cargo security business, the Kaba Group offers an innovative line of products providing security for goods in transit, specifically tailored to the needs of the transport industry. 

In the Safe Locks business area, La Gard products are also offered in addition to solutions from Kaba. The company became part of the Kaba Group in September 2006. La Gard specializes in the production of electronic locking devices for safes and vaults in the lower and mid-range market segment and thus provides a perfect complement to the Kaba high-security product portfolio for the premium end of the market.
