In North America, the Kaba Group is one of the leading providers of access control systems for hotels, and also offers technologically sophisticated solutions for residential properties, public buildings and business premises. Thus, the company meets a wide range of current market needs – from straightforward locking systems to tailored premium solutions. 

The product portfolio covers locking systems for hotels, with the concomitant management software, as well as keyless access control systems for residential premises and web-based access management for vacation rental homes. For business and industrial uses, the Kaba Group also offers electronic PIN and card locks, mechanical pushbutton locks, high-security cylinders and patented locking systems with replacement key control. 

The product portfolio is constantly being developed. The focus here is on the integration of new technologies, on new lock designs and on wireless online functions for hotel locks. Many of the products are now RoHS compliant (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). 

In addition to the Kaba brand, the company also sells products under the Saflok brand, which has belonged to the Kaba Group since September 2006. Saflok serves the mid-range and premium markets for access control solutions, extending the Kaba Group's product portfolio to include a broad array of high-quality electronic locking and access control systems for hotels and commercial premises, mainly for the American market.
